Staying on Site - Teams

While you are at the Cooperstown All Star Village your entire team will stay in the Player Village. The Player Village at the Cooperstown All Star Village is a restricted area. Only participants with an official CASV wristband will be allowed in the player village. The Player Village is staffed around the clock for safety and security of players. There are also three entrances to the Player Village, each with a manned Security booth. This is where parents can sign their player in and out if they choose to. Otherwise the players must remain together with at least two adult coaches. Each participant must read and sign the "Park Rules and Policies" form prior to attending. Please be sure to follow the rules or risk being penalized with a suspension or possibly rejection from the Tournament.

The players’ bunkhouses at Cooperstown Player Village is just one of the things that make our facilities a true baseball resort. Each Bunkhouse is named after a Major Leage Baseball Park. Each room in the bunkhouse is named for a player from the team that plays in that ballpark! Players bunk with their teams in fully air-conditioned bunkhouses. Each team bunkhouse room is equipped with a 55" flat-screen television, access to vending machines and, right outside, an in-ground pool shaped like a catcher’s mitt heated to a comfortable 85 degrees.

The bunkhouses consist of a large open room with twin sized bunkbeds for the players and 2 full size beds for the coaches. If you have more than two coaches the additional coaches will sleep in a twin sized bunk. Each bunkhouse can house 16-20 total people. Bedding is not provided so be sure to bring a pillow and sheets and a blanket of a sleeping bag.

Per NYS law the bunkhouses can not have any locks on the doors or windows. Windows shall not be covered with anything that inhibits clear line of sight. Any violation of this law will result in legal action.

Female players, coaches and umpires have separate sleeping accommodations in the Infirmary. These rooms have their own private bathrooms and showers as well. By law in New Yrok under no circumstances can a female player, coach or umpire stay in the bunkhouse unless the team consists entirely of females. Please be sure you have at least 2 male coaches that are at least 21 years old staying in the bunkhouse with the team.

Bring your bathing suit and enjoy your between game breaks in the Player pool, a heated pool shaped like a catchers glove!

Bathhouses are separate from the actual bunkhouse rooms and they are shared by other teams as well. Be sure to bring all of yur personal hygiene items as well as a towel and water shoes or flip-flops/slides to wear while showering.

The Infirmary is also centrally located in the Player Village and is manned by a certified medical professional 24/7. All medications (except rescue inhalers and EpiPens) MUST be stored in the Infirmary while you are here. Don't forget to pick up your meds when you check out! Your medical information, including information about allergies, dietary restrictions and medications is also maintained in the Infirmary. These records are destroyed at the end of your stay here at the Cooperstown All Star Village.

Meals are served in the Player Pavilion starting with breakfast from 5:30-10:00 am. Lunch is served from 11:00 am - 2:30 pm and Dinner from 4:00-8:00pm (4:00-6:30 pm on Thursdays). See "Dining at CASV" for the daily selections. Players will food allergies and/or dietary restrictions should check in with the Head Chef when they arrive on Saturday to review the procedures we have in place to accommodate these players. While the meal times are generally long enough to accommodate games there are occasions when a team cannot get to the Player Pavilion in time for one of their meals. If this should happen to your team please see our Baseball Administrator (you will meet him/her at the Coaches Meeting on Saturday) immediately to make other arrangements.

Pin trading is an activity that players look forward to while at Cooperstown All Star Village. We recommend that each player bring enough pins to trade with all the other teams attending the same week as well as several extras to trade with Umpires, our Staff and local merchants. We offer Pin Towels and Pin Bags in the Cooperstown Gear Shop to store and display your collection! Are you going into Cooperstown to visit the shops and the Baseball Hall of Fame? Bring a few pins and trade with players from other camps in the area!

We are not responsible for any personal items brought to the CASV property. Outside coolers with drinks and food are NOT permitted in the bunkhouses and can NOT be brought to games in the dugouts. Outside food and beverages of any kind (except for bottled water) are not permitted on Cooperstown All Star Village property, in accordance with the NYS Department of Health.

Staying on Site - Families

At Cooperstown All Star Village our on-site lodging keeps you right in the heart of the village, enhanced by the charm and historic character of restored 18th century buildings, plus a distinctively American flavor.

Formerly a showcase farm estate, we have preserved many of the original structures throughout our beautifully landscaped property.

While the coaches and players spend their time in our Players Village, which includes air-conditioned bunkhouses, an arcade, glove-shaped swimming pool and other amenities, family members can relax in the All Star Tavern, take a dip in one of the heated pools, shop in the General Store or stroll around our extensive landscaped grounds.

The Cooperstown All Star Village (CASV) Country Inn, Hotel & Suites are available for booking on our website 18 months prior to our opening day each Summer (Generally January 1 of the year prior to your attending). All of our rooms include free WiFi, cable TV, a 4 cubic foot refrigerator, a private bath/show and air conditioning. Amenities include a free Continental Breakfast in the All Star Tavern Sunday - Thursday (7:00AM-9:30AM), heated pool, coin operated laundry (pack less!) and free tickets to the National Baseball Hall of Fame (based on stated room occupancy).

Rooms can be booked through our website under Lodging Reservations or by calling the Main Office (800-327-6790 ext 101) Monday - Friday 9-5 Eastern time.

Rooms are rented for six night stays ONLY, beginning on a Saturday. Please be sure to enter the Saturday arrival date when booking your room or when checking for availability. If you enter anything other than a Saturday you will not be allowed to book a room.

Why stay on site? First and foremost, it is where everything happens! Second, it is so convenient! Need a bit of quiet time? Head to your room for a break. Rain delay? Head to your room and stay dry. Exhausted from an exciting morning of baseball? Head to your room for a nap. No need to drive back to a hotel several (or more) miles away.

Enjoy lunch, dinner or just a snack and a drink at our All Star Tavern, where closed circuit TV's insure that you will not miss a minute of any game, any time. The Overlook Restaurant and Babe's Bar allow you to watch the games from above, all while enjoying a meal in the cool shade provided by the canopies.
