As you prepare to visit, please know that we’ve made updates based on guidance from health authorities, such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and appropriate government agencies.

By following these guidelines together, we can create memories that will last a lifetime.

Guiding Principles

At CASV, important updates have been implemented to promote:

Enhanced Cleaning
Cleaning procedures have been enhanced.
Red_handbottle.pngCleaning procedures are enhanced throughout Cooperstown All Star Village. Extra attention is given to high-traffic areas, including handrails, benches, tables, handles, restrooms, transportation vehicles, wagons and more. Additionally, housekeeping services have been modified at CASV hotels to include enhanced cleaning and reduced contact.
 

Physical Distancing
Temporary adjustments are in place to promote physical distancing.
Red_silhouettes.pngTemporary adjustments are in place to promote Physical distancing, measures may include: Signage and Ground Markings: Please follow directional signage and ground markings, which have been installed throughout Cooperstown All Star Village to help Guests better navigate common areas while practicing physical distancing.

Physical Barriers: Physical barriers have been added in select places where it is difficult to maintain strict physical distancing guidelines. These may be visible in areas around cash registers or at Guest Relations, for example, to help promote proper distances between people.

Parking: Cars will be directed to park in every other parking space at CASV parking areas.

Training: CASV staff are trained to engage with Guests and promote physical distancing guidelines in all common areas.


Reduced Contact
Experiences may be modified in order to reduce contact.
Red-phone.pngExperiences may be modified in order to reduce contact. These include: Cashless Transactions: At this time, it is recommended all Guests use cashless payment options, including debit cards, credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. 
Modified Housekeeping: Housekeeping services have been modified at Cooperstown ALL Star Village to include enhanced cleaning and reduced contact.

 

Top Things You Should Know

Here are the top things to know as you prepare to visit.

Face Coverings
Face coverings are required for all Guests (ages 2 and up) and Staff Members.

Blue_mask.pngFace coverings are required for all Guests (ages 2 and up), players, coaches, umpires and CASV Employees. Please bring your own face coverings and wear them at all times, except when dining or swimming or on the field during a game. You may remove your face covering while actively eating or drinking, but you should be stationary and maintain appropriate physical distancing.

Temperature Screenings
Information on temperature screenings.

Blue_thermometer.pngYou will be required to undergo a temperature screening with no-touch thermometers before entry to Cooperstown All Star Village.
Based on guidance from health authorities, anyone displaying a temperature of 100.4 F or above will be directed to an additional location for rescreening and assistance. Those with temperatures 100.4 F or above will not be allowed entry; those in their party will not be allowed entry either.
Before you leave home, be sure to check the temperatures of everyone in your party (including yourself)as an extra layer of precaution.

We have taken enhanced health and safety measures—for you, our other Guests, and Staff Members. You must follow all posted instructions while visiting CASV.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and Guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

By visiting Cooperstown All Star Village you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

Health Acknowledgement

Please make sure that you have reviewed any advisories or restrictions that may be in place for travel to New York. Visit https://coronavirus.health.ny.gov/covid-19-travel-advisory for information. By entering Cooperstown All Star Village, you are confirming that you and all persons in your party:

  • are not experiencing any of the following symptoms of COVID-19 identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention at CDC.gov, including:
    • Fever or chills
    • Cough
    • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
    • Fatigue
    • Muscle or body aches
    • Headache
    • New loss of taste or smell
    • Sore throat
    • Congestion or runny nose
    • Nausea or vomiting
    • Diarrhea
  • have not been in contact with someone with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 symptoms without completing a 14-day quarantine
  • are not under any self-quarantine orders

Guests who cannot confirm all of the above criteria must not enter Cooperstown All Star Village.
